KPRF - 98.7 Jack FM
The first Clear Channel station to license the Jack FM name/branding, KPRF flipped from CHR as Power 98.7 to Variety Hits as 98.7 Jack FM on March 1, 2007. It was already known at the time of the flip that Clear Channel was going to divest itself of the the station.
On October 2, 2007, Clear Channel announced that it was selling KPRF to Gap Broadcasting as part of a larger sale of stations that the company owns in Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. Soon after, Gap purchased and took control of the station.
