WELK - SAM 94.7

McGraw Elliott's K95 (WELK) aired the Jones Radio Network Adult Contemporary satellite feed until June 29, 2005. On noon on that day, it switched over to Westwood One's SAM Radio Variety Hits feed as SAM 94.7. This was the first station in the state of West Virginia to go with the Variety Hits format.
The station dropped SAM and Variety Hits on July 20, 2006, switching to Oldies and picking up Westwood One's Oldies Channel.
