KMTY - 97.7 Bob FM
NRG Media's KMTY flipped from Oldies as Super Hits 97 to Variety Hits as 97.7 Bob FM on (or about) November 21, 2005. The Waitt satellite-fed Oldies format that had been on 97.7 was bumped to AM, moving to 1380 KUVR (also licensed to Holdrege) and displacing the Soft AC format which had been there.
While not in an Arbitron-rated area in its coverage area, 97.7 Bob FM reaches with a city-grade signal to the northeast into the larger town of Kearney, NE. However, for the purpose of this site, it will be listed as Holdrege, since Kearney stations often are lumped into the Grand Island, NE market, and 97.7 Bob FM does not reach the Grand Island area.
