WQLR - 106.5 the Q
(Station changed formats on March 29, 2007)
Midwest Communications brought Variety Hits to Kalamazoo on August 27, 2006, shifting Q106.5 from Hot AC to Variety Hits as 106.5 the Q. However, this move proved to be short-lived.
On March 29, 2007, WQLR changed call letters to WVFM (with sister station 1660 WQSN picking up the displaced WQLR call letters) and relaunched with AC as "FM 106.5."
