CKLY-FM - 91.9 Bob FM
CHUM Limited flipped AC Y92 (CKLY-FM) to Variety Hits as 91.9 Bob FM on August 21, 2005.
CKLY-FM signed on in May 1998, replacing 910 CKLY. In a radio practice that differentiates Canadian stations from their U.S. counterparts, the AM license had to be turned in by CHUM Limited to obtain the FM license that's in use now. The two stations were allowed to simulcast for a month before the AM signed off for good in June 1998. CHUM Limited acquired CKLY-FM in 2001.
According to CHUM Limited's official website, CKLY-FM "serves the city's 80,000 residents and the thousands of cottagers and vacationers" in the area.
