CIXL - 91.7 Giant FM
R.B. Communications changed CHOW to CIXL on January 28, 2005. The next day, the station flipped from country as Spirit 91.7 to Variety Hits as 91.7 Giant FM.
The station had overlap from 92.9 Jack FM (WBUF) in Buffalo for most of its run. In late August 2008, the station shifted from Variety Hits to classic rock, keeping the Giant FM name that it had for the duration of its run with Variety Hits.
