WMMO - 98.9 WMMO
A station perhaps years ahead of its time, WMMO debuted in 1990 with a wide music variety, and for the most part it has stuck with that approach since then. Some complained about the playlist becoming a little too narrow when Cox first took ownership of the station, though that was it moving from AAA to a Variety Hits approach more than anything in hindsight.
Looking at WMMO as it is now, I believe it fits the criteria for being a Variety Hits station, though this is probably the closest call for any of the stations on the Variety Hits list.
