WMRZ - 98.1 Zack FM

Staton Broadcasting bought the construction permit for the 98.1 signal licensed to Dawson, GA (but covering the Albany, GA market) from Multi-Service Corp. in November 2003. The company finally signed the station on the air on June 17, 2005 with a Variety Hits format as 98.1 Zack FM.
Clear Channel took control of WMRZ via an LMA on October 11, 2005 and immediately flipped it to Urban AC as 98.1 Kiss FM.
