New Bern/Morehead City, NC

WSTK - 104.5 Will FM

On March 31, 2008, NextMedia moved the Variety Hits "Will FM" format from the powerful 98.7 FM in the Wilmington, NC market to the newly-upgraded 104.5 signal near Morehead City, NC. WSTK previously was a Spanish language station, and it was Spanish that replaced Variety Hits on 98.7 in Wilmington.

WSSM - SAM 105.1
(Station changed formats on November 1, 2007)

At the start of 2005, NextMedia's 105.1 signal in the New Bern/Morehead City, NC market played Adult Standards as Classic Radio WANG 105.1 (WANG-FM). The station then inherited the Westwood One-fed Oldies format from Kool Oldies 98.7 (WKOO) on April 5, 2005, as that signal became Soft AC as Lite 98.7. On April 17, 2005, 105.1's call letters changes from WANG-FM to WKOO.

The Oldies format didn't stay for long. At some point on the morning of June 13, 2005, Kool Oldies 105.1 flipped to Variety Hits with the Westwood One SAM Radio format as SAM 105.1, becoming the fourth station in the country to pick up the Westwood One feed.

The station changed its call letters to WSSM on June 21, 2005.

NextMedia flipped the station to Adult Standards on November 1, 2007, using the new name of 105.1 The Coast.
