In conjunction with Opus Media closing on its purchase of Triad Broadcasting's holdings in the Tallahassee market, Opus flipped WEGT from Oldies 99.9 to Variety Hits as 99.9 Hank FM over Memorial Day Weekend 2005. Unlike the Hank FM in Indianapolis (which is country), this Hank FM is a Variety Hits station. The station is named after new Opus Media/Tallahassee General Manager Hank Kestenbaum, according to Radio & Records.
The station airs the syndicated Bob & Sheri show in morning drive.
