Community Broadcast Group's 95 Rock (a classic rock station) flipped to Variety Hits with the Westwood One satellite-fed "SAM" format on November 1, 2005 as SAM 95.3. The station, for being a Class A signal, covers the Cleveland, MS area quite well.
The station switched formats to Urban on March 19, 2007 according to 100000watts.com, though the name of the new station is unknown. That didn't last long, as the station went dark on May 31, 2007. Details about this situation have been most difficult to obtain.
