WGVC - 106.3 Charlie FM

Entercom dropped its female talk format on 106.3 WGVC, going into a weekend of stunting beginning on Friday, August 17, 2007.
That lead to the debut of 106.3 Charlie FM at noon ET on Monday, August 20, 2007, a Variety Hits station in the same mold as other Entercom-owned Variety Hits stations.
The format proved to be short-lived, as Entercom flipped the station to a simulcast of News/Talk 950 WORD/Spartanburg, SC and 1330 WYRD/Greenville, SC on June 13, 2008, with new call letters WYRD-FM.
