Greater Media flipped Hot AC "Mix 95.7" (WMWX) to Variety Hits as "95.7 Ben FM" on March 21, 2005. Mix's last song was "Better Man" by Pearl Jam, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
To avoid violating Big Sticks Broadcasting's service mark on "Playing What We Want", 95.7 Ben FM uses the phrase "Playing Anything We Feel Like" on its website and on the air as a positioning statement.
The station changed call letters to WBEN-FM on May 9, 2005.
